It kicked off on Monday, March 7, with the pupils of the fifth grade of the Villasimius Comprehensive Institute, the environmental education activities for the schools of the project LIFE RES MARIS, carried out by Diomedea Cooperative.
The course, which will run until the spring, includes activities in the classroom and on the field and is distinguished by an interactive and playful approach which aims to provide students with knowledge and respect for the environment and in particular for the extraordinary ecosystem of the Capo Carbonara Protected Marine Area.
The actual launch was preceded by several meetings (the last to late January) with the school manager and the teachers, fundamental to define the teaching program and adapt it to specific training needs. The activity, in fact, involves students of all levels of the institute, and is set up as an educational tour organized in which, for the next three years, students will be involved and encouraged to deal, from time to time, with different issues.
Year after year, the results of the activities will be collected into a report, which will be made available on the site www.resmaris.eu
