RES MARIS: Environmental Education Activities for the school

It kicked off on Monday, March 7, with the pupils of the fifth grade of the Villasimius Comprehensive Institute, the environmental education activities for the schools of the project LIFE RES MARIS, carried out by Diomedea Cooperative.

12814516_812095962235846_6869752763959820800_nThe course, which will run until the spring, includes activities in the classroom and on the field and is distinguished by an interactive and playful approach which aims to provide students with knowledge and respect for the environment and in particular for the extraordinary ecosystem of the Capo Carbonara Protected Marine Area.

12814153_812095912235851_6970348439462171046_nThe actual launch was preceded by several meetings (the last to late January) with the school manager and the teachers, fundamental to define the teaching program and adapt it to specific training needs. The activity, in fact, involves students of all levels of the institute, and is set up as an educational tour organized in which, for the next three years, students will be involved and encouraged to deal, from time to time, with different issues.
