On 24 June 2016 a television crew from RAI 1 has visited the beaches and natural sites of Porto Pino in the company of prof. Gianni Bacchetta, to record the footage to be aired in the episode of July 2 of “Linea Verde Orizzonti”, broadcast on RAI 1 from 11.
Among the natural dunes and juniper forest, the professor led director Angelica Marotta and the author of the program Marco Papola to discover the tree species and the natural wonders of the deep Sulcis.
Two researchers of the Botanical Garden of Cagliari, Giuseppe Fenu and Rosangela Picciau, were engaged while shooting in gathering the berries of junipers for the Germplasm Bank.
On this occasion, the UNICA scientific coordinator explained the work carried out first with PROVIDUNE and currently with RES MARIS.
