On 17 and 18 April the CCB (Biodiversity Conservation Centre) participated, representing the RES MARIS project at the Workshop organized by the LIFE project JUNIPERCY, which was held in Nicosia, Cyprus.
On the first day it was possible to visit the restoration work done on priority habitat 9560* Endemic forests with Juniperus spp. in Madari and Kerami sites, in the Troodos National Park, and the germplasm bank of Amiantos, results of the concrete actions for the conservation JUNIPERCY project.
On the second day took place the workshop, which was attended by representatives from several LIFE projects: JUNICOAST, JUN EX, TENO, GUGUY; Very interesting was the exchange of experience between projects working on different habitats having in common the presence of species of the genus Juniperus.
